Oliver
My name is Oliver. I was raised in a single parent household by my wonderful mother. I am a junior at the University of Utah studying a double major in Sociology and Human Development, with a Leadership Minor and a Certificate in Criminology. I plan to continue my education by going to graduate school in student affairs. My dream is to be a resource and mentor, who can help guide young adults into completing high school and to earn a college degree.

My name is Courtney. I was raised by my parents along with my two younger sisters. Single parenting is becoming much more common in lives then in the past years which makes me excited to research information about single parenting. I am a junior at the University of Utah majoring in Human Development and Family Studies, with a minor in Spanish and a Certificate in Positive Psychology. I am hoping to master in Social Work and I want to go out in this world to help those who need it.

My name is Barb. I'm a senior at the University of Utah, majoring in Family and Consumer Studies. After graduation in May, I hope to get a job mentoring victims of domestic violence. I'm a single mom of four kids. Three of them have successfully finished high school, and are either in college or have finished college. My youngest is in the ninth grade, is an excellent student, and plays hockey. I know single parenting is tough, but single parents can be successful parents. I will be blogging some tips on how to help single parents and kids of single parents be successful.
